League Scoring System

Welcome to the Te Kauwhata Texas Hold-em League! Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, understanding the scoring system is key to success. Here's how the points work in our league:

1. Attendance Points

Each player receives 1 point for attending a game session. There are 10 sessions per season, and each one is an opportunity to earn valuable points toward the overall standings.

2. Knockout Points

Whenever a player eliminates another from the game by winning a hand when the other player is all-in, they earn an additional 1 point. This point is awarded for every knockout, making it crucial to play aggressively and strategically during each hand.

3. Highest Hand Value Points

The player with the highest hand value in each session will earn 3 points. This point rewards the players who consistently make strong plays and win with top hands, adding another layer of strategy to each session.

4. Buy-ins & Add-ons

Players can buy-in twice during each session or opt to purchase a second buy-in as an add-on. These additional buy-ins or add-ons affect the scoring in the following way:
