The Te Kauwhata Poker Club had an incredible Summer season, filled with thrilling hands, bold plays, and plenty of laughs.

At the top of the leaderboard, Josh dominated with 96 points over 10 sessions, securing 16 knockouts to claim the overall championship. Right behind him, Lynne showcased her skill with 4 top hands and an equal 16 knockouts, finishing second with 72 points. Riaan rounded out the top three with 71 points, proving to be a consistent force throughout the season.

Other standout performances included Tommo (66 points, 13 KOs) and Sean (65 points in just 7 games). Logan earned the season’s highest knockout count (18) but played fewer sessions, affecting his final ranking. Meanwhile, Shaune was a force to be reckoned with, eliminating 11 players in just two games—a short but impactful run!

When it came to high hands, Steve took the crown with Quad 8’s, while Lynne had the most impressive streak, claiming the top hand of the night on four separate occasions. Jay and Tommo earned the title of the season’s luckiest players, consistently hitting miracle cards on the river.

Most importantly, we all had a fantastic time—playing cards, making memories, and sharing plenty of laughs.
